UK-Based Nigerian Lady Shot Dead By alleged Fulani Bandits After Mum’s Burial In Ibadan

Gunmen suspected to be bandits have shot dead a UK-based Nigerian woman, who returned to the country for her mother's burial, along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.
She was said to have been killed in the presence of her children.
The United Kingdom-based Nigerian, Bola Aworetan was shot dead in Ibadan about a week after hosting her mum’s burial in Lagos. Most of her friends in the UK, US, and Nigeria are still in shock over the tragic incident, JINGLE HOBAMA gathered.
According to Kemi Ashefon Instagram page “The deceased, Bola Aworetan had travelled down to Nigeria from the United Kingdom where she lived and worked, to bury her mum.

IPOB Disowns Nnamdi Kanu’s Finland-Based Disciple, Simon Ekpa
In a statement dated August 21, 2021, and signed by Anthony Obasi and Chika Madu, National Coordinator and National Secretary of IPOB Finland respectively, the group disclosed that Ekpa is not a registered member of the group in Finland
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has said Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed Finland-based disciple of Nnamdi Kanu, is not a member of the group.
In a statement dated August 21, 2021 and signed by Anthony Obasi and Chika Madu, National Coordinator and National Secretary of IPOB Finland respectively, the group disclosed that Ekpa is not a registered member of the group in Finland.
Ekpa has been in the news for seemingly opposing the modus operandi of the group since the recent arrest and detention of Kanu.

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against President Muhammadu Buhari over his failure to probe allegations of missing N106 billion from 149 ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs).
According to SERAP in a statement signed by its Deputy Director, Kolawole Oluwadare on Sunday, the suit was also filed against Buhari over his failure to “ensure the prosecution of those suspected to be responsible and the recovery of any missing public funds”.
The suit followed the grim allegations by the Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation in his 2018 annual audited report that N105,662,350,077.46 of public funds are missing, misappropriated, or unaccounted for across 149 MDAs.
In the suit numbered FHC/ABJ/CS/903/2021, which was filed last week at the Federal High Court in Abuja, SERAP is seeking: “an order of mandamus to direct and compel President Buhari to promptly investigate the alleged missing N106 billion of public funds, ensure prosecution of anyone suspected to

Crisis rocks Ife/Modakeke, five killed, attack on Ooni’s palace repelled

There was palpable tension between residents of Ile-Ife and Modakeke of Osun State on Friday, following the killing of five farmers from Modakeke along Toro Road in the early hours of the day.
The five victims, all male, were found dead on the road to Toro village, where they reportedly had farms.
A community leader in Modakeke, Mr Femi Eluyinka, who confirmed the incident in an interview with our correspondent, said some people from the town, accompanied by police operatives, evacuated the corpses.
